This remote control is designed for the Model 970, and Model 1070. But also has compatibility with other legacy models such as the Model 1050. Most of the function buttons for this remote are identical in functionality with the Model 1050 remote.
However, the following function buttons will control a different function than what's labelled on, or above, the button.

*For the Model 1050:
Video 4 button accesses the DVD Source
DVD button accesses the Direct 5.1 Input Source (designed for DVD audio) 
Other function buttons are:
Dolby Modes = Surr 6.1
DTS Modes = Channel Trim (Front/Center)
Stereo Modes = Channel Trim(Surrounds)
Bypass = Channel Trim (Sub)
Direct = Preset Scan
OSD Menu = Mono/Stereo
Trim/Exit = Speaker size Setting
Night/Last = Crossover/LPF Setting
Tune Mode = Delay
